In 1977, Imam Mohammed toured China with the group “American and Chinese Friends.”

In 1988, He represented Muslims at the World Parliament of Religious Leaders for the "Survival of the Earth and Its Environment."

In 1990, following the invasion of Kuwait, at the Invitation of King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, Imam Mohammed and a delegation traveled to Saudi Arabia in a consultative role discussing concerns over the Gulf War.

On December 7, 1993, he delivered a historic address, "Islam and Universal Values: How Muslims are to Contribute to World Peace,"at the Los Angeles World Affairs Council.

In 1995, Imam Mohammed was selected as an International President for the World Conference on Religion and Peace. In March he addressed its governing board meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark, with a message on social development and the aspirations and responsibilities of the common person in society.

In December 1995, he led a delegation of members to Saudi Arabia to participate in talks with Saudi Arabian education officials, as a guest of the ruler, King Fahd Iban Abdulaziz.

In February 1995, coordinators of the first "Acts Of Kindness Week" (which inspired similar events in major cities throughout America) in Dallas, Texas invited the legendary Ms. Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, III and Imam W. Deen Mohammed.

In May 1995, the Forbes Forum officials invited Imam W. Deen Mohammed to address their prestigious annual conference on the topic "How to Save Our Youth."

In the fall of 1996, he was invited by President Hosni Mubarak to return to Egypt to address the Supreme Council of Affairs in Cairo on the theme: "Islam and the Future of Dialogue between Civilizations."

On November 20, 1996, in support of the peacemaking and human rights efforts of Most Reverend Samuel Ruiz Garcia, Bishop of San Cristobal de las Casas (Chiapas), Mexico, he traveled to Chiapas as a member of The Peace Council.

In December 1996, Imam Mohammed, along with a small delegation of American Muslims, visited Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza, to take part in talks with the leader of the Palestinian people, President Yassir Arafat, and other Palestinian leaders.

On November 21, 1999 he attended the Jubillennium Interfaith Conference for World Peace in Tiberias, Israel and on November 25th he attended the "7th World Assembly of the World Conference on Religion and Peace" in Amman, Jordan, where he was elected International President in the U.S. for W.C.R.P.

 In 2000 He was appointed to the Executive Committee of Religious Alliance Against Pornography(RAAP).
